Young women shape Fröslunda!

At the end of August, 25 girls from Jensen Gymnasium in Eskilstuna gathered for a three‑day workshop in Fröslunda. Together with Eskilstuna Municipality, the Shared City Foundation, Tuna Entreprenad, City Sync and Dalarna University, they analysed the area and developed creative ideas for how solar technology can be integrated into new urban furniture.

The next step is for the architecture firm Imottsjo to develop a concrete design proposal, which will then be tested in Fröslunda. The workshop is part of the European project SET‑PED, funded by the Swedish Energy Agency, with parallel activities taking place in Bucharest and Sicily.
